Your responses will be combined with other participants’ in a report that will describe the experiences of workers with jobs like yours.

Either your household was randomly selected from a list of residential addresses in the United States or someone you know invited you to participate.

On average, the survey takes about 30 minutes to complete."

No, it is your choice if you want to participate or not. You can also skip any questions you do not want to answer.

Your name and contact information will not be linked to any answers in the survey. No information that could personally identify you will be given to DOL or anyone else.

First, answer a few questions to see if you are eligible. If you are eligible, you will be able to continue on to the survey. We will also ask you to invite up to five people that you know who might be eligible to participate.

If you are eligible and complete the survey, you will receive a $40 Visa gift card. If you recruit other people who complete the survey, you will receive an additional Visa gift card with $20 for each person that completes the survey. You are limited to five referrals, so you can make up $100 for successfully referring others to the study.
